New Fic: Lover's Knot

hobbit_smut's first anniversary (yay! *throws confetti, even though it's hell to vacuum up*). The challenge was to write about an anniversary that is forgotten, or apparently forgotten, and the consequences thereof. Also, the phrase "that string on your finger" should appear. So, here is:
