Los Angeles has this awesome thing that happens every couple of years or so where all the museums, galleries, random cultural things, etc. focus on a central theme. It's called Pacific Standard Time. A couple of years ago, it was Mid-Century California Design, and it was awesome.

This time, it is Latin-American and Latino Art. If you want to check it out, here ya go. http://www.pacificstandardtime.org/

We've seen a couple so far, and Saturday we went to the Annenberg Center for Photography in Century City, which had a Cuba Is. . . exhibit, but what is even better, a short video covering those photographers and their motivations/journeys. In case you are interested, here you are. https://www.annenbergphotospace.org/

And then this afternoon, we hustled downtown to watch the LA Opera do Carmen. As you do. Gotta vote that opera as the one with the best songs and most awesome plot ever. Yeah, Aida, bring on your elephants, but girl buried in tomb vs girl stabbed by her ex-lover because she is just too damn sexy? No contest.
