Just in case one of my fics might have whizzed by you in the last few months, you may now find them all (up to the third Never Better) laid out and looking prettiful on my website, thanks to the irreplaceable Aratlithiel. And if you have ever wondered about the order of Shire Morns, it's here, too. (I makes them up as I goes along, folks.)

Aratlithiel has floored me, truth to tell, by adding her OWN illustrations to two of them. Check out Tell Me What You Want for the incredibly romantic image there. *totally melts into a puddle of goo*

And then, for a one eighty effect, click on In Dreams and tell me if that isn't the most stunningly gorgeous thing ever.

I've just taken a tour of your new website, and it's totally knockout! :-) I love the wine-y colour backgrounds & the font you've used is lovely. And you're right, the illustrations are really something special. Very dreamy! I look forward to checking the whole place out more thoroughly when I can.

Well, it really is a lovely Shire morn here as I write -- it's sunny (*gasp of amazement*) with an almost cloudless blue sky, and everything wonderfully green after the almost incessant rain we've been having for weeks. I would love nothing more than to totally immerse myself in this Shire fantasy world & stay there, but alas, pesky old RL calls! *sigh*

I was reminded of you not long ago when I heard a story of someone finding a little fledgling blackbird that (for some reason) was ailing & semi-unconscious. The person involved tried all kind of things to revive it without success -- until they gave it a shot of elderberry wine & it came back to life pronto! :-)

Yes, that doesn't fit into the latter parts of SM - thank God! I want them to have a happy end and it couldn't be happy if the elders persist in disapproving! :)

I have read all of your stories at the West Moon site and should have commented long before now. They are superbly written and you do such a wonderful job of capturing the essence of Frodo and Sam's relationship and making it real. I'm in the habit of checking into the WM site regularly just to see if you've posted something new.
